She interviews various “Theodoras” from all walks of life and industries who have taken the reins and have forged a new path for themselves. They tell tales of how they’ve failed forward while sharing the tools and techniques they used to successfully land on their feet with fulfilled hearts and expanded options.
Gayle is fueled by a desire to help others see how their challenges can inform their next chapter. She speaks to her own journey as the daughter of a father who suffers from a debilitating disease, while raising her two young daughters and juggling a career. Gayle navigated the demands of motherhood while rising through the ranks in a predominantly male workforce, when she found her voice advocating for the needs of her family with her professional future at stake.
Gayle saw a need to offer more support for women in transition at the cusp of the next season of their lives. Inspired by her mother’s own career reinventions, and by other female role models, Gayle’s mission is to provide her listeners and clients with empathy, guidance, perspective and encouragement focused on work/life integration while practicing exceptional self-care.
Outside of her career, Gayle enjoys cooking, socializing with friends over a glass of wine and spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters. One of the mottos she lives by – inspired by George Michael – is ‘you gotta have faith, a mantra she carries into her new chapter, as a reminder to stay grounded in your beliefs to honor and achieve your dreams.
Born, raised and based in the Chicago region, Gayle achieved a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communications from Indiana University.
