Best Seller TV’s June programming features author David Fergusson

Best Seller TV, the only show dedicated to covering today’s best-selling business books on C-Suite TV,  is announcing a new episode in June featuring David Fergusson, author of The transHuman Code: How To Program Your Future.

Technology is at the forefront of everything we do and it affects every aspect of our lives, personally and professionally. David Fergusson, author of The transHuman Code: How To Program Your Future says the book acts as an invitation for anyone who wants to take control of how they will use technology in their own future. Fergusson says he co-wrote the book, along with Carlos Moreira, because they feel there’s a need for individuals and organizations alike to understand what the future will be like and how humans will interact with all of the changes that will come. He adds that the book examines some of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and encourages people to ask questions about not just the future of technology, but how we interface with it.

In 2018, the latest World Economic Forum report revealed that over 125 million new roles will be created by 2022. In the same time period, 75 million jobs will be displaced as a result of artificial intelligence, which is one of the greatest threats to today’s workforce. As a result, universities are taking notice and playing a significant role in helping re-skill future employees. Fergusson stresses the need to always continue to learn because of the uncontrollable speed of technological transformation.

Fergusson believes that if humanity is going to be best served and thrive, versus just survive, we all need to be considerate of which applications are a threat to us and which one are opportunities. His deep interest in what the future of humanity will be is the genesis of the book – for technology to be used as fairly as possible to create greater equality.
