That said, celebrities and misguided politicians are really just a small sliver of private aviation. The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the trade group representing owners and operators of private jets and business turboprops, is wrapping up its annual convention here in Las Vegas. Its CEO Ed Bolen took time out of his schedule to speak to Forbes.com about the state of the industry, and share the storylines about business aviation that usually don’t make the news.
