The book offers a taste of his ideas, experiences, readings, and observations on the subject of leadership, coaching, and life. It offers valuable thoughts, insights, ideas, and some tools on leadership that can be useful in improving employees, organizations and ourselves.
Utilizing more than forty years in leadership positions in local, county, and state government, non-profits, and the private sector; he offers his thoughts on what we can do to enhance our leadership skills. Topics like overcoming our gremlin, effective communication, dealing with ambiguity, developing our legacy, emotional intelligence and the greatest gift we can give ourselves help make us authentic leaders.
Danny Valenzuela is the Owner of Transition Execs, LLC, a company that provides executive, team and leadership coaching. His Ascending Leader’s Program™ provides leadership development workshops. He is also a facilitator and instructor for the College of Public Programs, Ramsey Executive Education Program at Arizona State University. He has over forty years’ experience in top-level state government positions, city management, and non-profit organizations.
Danny earned the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coach Federation, and a B.S. in Management and the Certified Public Management (CPM) designation from Arizona State University. He earned the designations of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and Competent Leader (CL) from Toastmasters International.
He is a Board Member of the Dougherty Foundation, a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), and the National Speakers Association (NSA). Throughout his career he has served on numerous local, state, and national boards and committees.
