Milo Shapiro left fifteen years in I.T. to pursue his passion: applying improvisation to events like teambuilding and motivational speeches, creating a fun way of learning business practices, communication skills, and personal development. .
His self-created teambuilding program, “TEAMprovising”, creates team connectedness, improved communication and boosted innovation among staff as varied as federal employees to spine surgeons.
The active National Speakers Association member’s most popular program is his solo motivation presentation, “We Gotta Fail…To Succeed!” (on risk-taking and coping with change/failure) where he also leads the crowd in interactive games. His customized “IMPROVfessionals” duo presentation is an improv “keynote show” that uses ten improv games to prove ten points on sales, management, teamwork, and other topics.
After requests from attendees to train or coach them in public speaking, Milo launched the coaching side of his business “Public Dynamics” in 2004, helping hundreds of individuals — from doctors and entrepreneurs to congressional candidates and professional speakers — become more prepared, polished and powerful upon the platform. In conjunction with his teaching beliefs, he published the funny and informative: “Public Speaking: Get A’s, Not Zzzzzz’s!” in 2007, the sequel “Public Speaking for TEENS: Get A’s, Not Zzzzzz’s!”, and a book of humorous short stories with life lessons called “The Worst Days Make The BEST Stories!”
